Connecticut Maple Weekend Events at Great Mountain Forest

On Sat., March 21, 2020, GMF will take part in Connecticut Maple Weekend. There will be ongoing tours of the GMF sugar house from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Come learn the process of sap to syrup, and taste some delicious local maple syrup, and buy some to take home!

Think again… Join American Distilling in a presentation about one of America’s most popular skincare ingredients that is used from your nose to your toes and everything in-between! Learn about the past, present and future of this little power plant growing its way through generations of households.

Earth Day Camp Fire Poetry

April 18, 2020

Join us for a sunset campfire and poetry reading celebrating the earth and its gifts. Bring a camp chair and relax by the fire as you listen to some specially chosen poems while the sun goes down and the stars come out. Celebrate how grateful we are to be able to enjoy all that nature has to offer.
You are welcome to read a favorite poem or listen to others read.
Refreshments will be served.
