She will also share practical tips for living harmoniously with black bears, along with personal insights drawn from her extensive experience observing them in the wild.\nFourteen years ago, Ginny relocated to the forests of Barkhamsted, Connecticut, where she now lives surrounded by Peoples State Forest and an abundant black bear population. Her close encounters with these remarkable animals led her to document their behavior through field notes and photography, contributing valuable information to DEEP biologists. Her passion for bear conservation has also taken her westward, where she participated in a grizzly bear research expedition in Montana, further deepening her expertise and commitment to wildlife preservation.\n
